This podcast was developed by Anupreet Rai, Dr. Matthew Magyar a resident undergoing subspecialty training in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Ottawa, under the guidance of Dr. Nicole Le Saux, a Paediatric Infectious Diseases specialist and Professor at the University of Ottawa, and lead author of the CPS statement.

This podcast summarizes the 2011 Canadian Paediatric Society (CPS) statement on the management of complicated pneumonia in children and youth and was created by Colleen O’Connor, a third-year medical student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, in collaboration with PedsCases and the CPS. This podcast was developed with support from Dr. Tania Wong, a General Pediatrician at the IWK Health Centre in Halifax as well as Dr. Thea Chibuk, a General Pediatrician at the Stollery Children’s Hospital in Edmonton and the lead author of this position statement.
