This podcast summarizes the recently published CPS Practice Point titled "Beta-lactam allergy in the paediatric population." It was developed by Dr. Larissa Shapka, a paediatric resident at the University of Toronto, with guidance from Dr. Elissa Abrams, one of the authors of this practice point and President of the Allergy Section of the CPS. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics and Child Health, Section of Allergy and Immunology, at the University of Manitoba, and an Associate Member of the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Allergy and Immunology, at the University of British Columbia.
