The podcast was developed by Dr. Gauri Shah, a pediatrician who completed a fellowship in Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the University of Alberta, and Dr. Joan Robinson, a Pediatric Infectious Disease specialist at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Canada.

This podcast will review the CPS Practice Point "Invasive group A streptococcal disease: Management and chemoprophylaxis" published April 15, 2019, updating the previous Practice Point published in 2010. It was developed by Dr. Ola Rydz, fourth-year general pediatrics resident at the Stollery Children's Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, with Dr. Dorothy Moore, Associate Professor of Pediatrics at McGill University in Montreal, Canada and lead author of this CPS statement.


Allergenic Food Introduction in Infants at Risk – CPS Podcast

This podcast will review the CPS practice point "Timing and introduction of allergenic solids for infants at high risk". It was developed by Dr. Nicole Arseneau, a first year pediatrics resident at the Stollery Children’s Hospital and the University of Alberta, in conjunction with Dr. Elissa Abrams, an Allergist and Immunologist at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg, and Dr. Edmond Chan, a pediatric allergist at UBC/BC Children’s Hospital in Vancouver.
