Congenital Hand Anomalies

This podcast will discuss an approach to recognizing and managing congenital hand anomalies in children. By the end of this podcast, listeners will be able to describe the key stages of embryologic hand development, categorize major malformations, recognize clinical "red flags" and systemic associations, and outline the clinical rationale for surgical timing in common anomalies. This podcast was created by Harold Zhu, a first-year medical student at the University of Alberta, and Dr. Regan Guilfoyle, MD, a Pediatric Plastic Surgeon and Associate Professor at the University of Alberta.
