This podcast presents an approach to medical complexity and technology dependence in children. In this episode, listeners will learn how these terms are defined, how to assess a child with medical complexity and technology dependence, as well as appreciating the impact of caring for a child with medical complexity on the family. This podcast was developed by Sara Rizakos in collaboration with Dr. Nathalie Major, a complex care pediatrician at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario.


ADHD in Children and Youth: Part 2 - Treatment - CPS Podcast

This podcast is part 2 of a 3-part series on ADHD in children and youth based on the 2018 CPS Statement on ADHD. It will cover the management of ADHD, including non-pharmacologic treatment, when to consider medical intervention, and pharmacologic options. This series was developed by Renée Lurie, a third-year medical student from the University of Ottawa, in collaboration with the authors of the statement: Drs. Pediatric Anxiety

This PedsCases Note provides a one-page infographic on an approach to pediatric anxiety. It gives an overview of various common anxiety disorders in the pediatric population. It was created by Katharine Jensen, a medical student at the University of Alberta, with the help of Dr. Heidi Wilkes, a Pediatric Psychiatrist at the University of Alberta.
