Non-Invasive Ventilation in Pediatric Medicine

This podcast was created by Jenner Lakusta, a medical student at the University of Alberta, Dr. Jonathan Duff, a pediatric intensivist at the Stollery Children’s hospital in Edmonton as well as an associate professor at the University of Alberta, and Dr. Chris Novak, a second-year resident at the Stollery Children’s Hospital. This podcast reviews the basic principles of non-invasive ventilation (NIV), the different types of NIV—including high-flow nasal cannula, CPAP and BiPAP— and common indications for NIV in pediatric


Pediatric Trauma
