Seborrheic Dermatitis

This podcast was developed by Annie Poon, a fourth year medical student at the University of Alberta, and Dr. Jessica Foulds, a pediatrician at the University of Alberta.

Viral Rashes

In it, the listener will learn to describe the typical clinical presentation of pediatric vitiligo, recall its underlying pathophysiology and common subtypes, generate a differential diagnosis for pediatric vitiligo, understand its psychosocial impact, list resources available to patients, and list various treatment modalities. This podcast was created by Dr. Harry Liu, a dermatology resident at the University of British Colombia, and Sara Choi, a medical student at the University of British Colombia, in collaboration with Dr.


Myths and Facts about Sun Protection in Pediatric Population

In this episode, listeners will learn about different methods of sun protection in the pediatric population and evidenced based recommendations that you can share with patients. The podcast was developed by MD student Jennifer Ling and dermatology resident Dr. Harry Liu, both at the UBC, with the help of pediatric dermatologist Dr. Miriam Weinstein, and pediatric ophthalmologist Dr. Conor Mulholland.


Approach to Chalazion and Stye

This podcast covers an approach to chalazia and styes, two ocular issues commonly found in children.  It will cover diagnosis, management, and also the ability to distinguish them from other possible diagnoses.  It was developed by John Liu, current research fellow in ophthalmology at the University of Toronto, and Dr. Nawaaz Nathoo, an ophthalmologist in Vancouver, BC.
