This Podcast will review the management of food allergies in children. In this episode, listeners will learn an approach to the history and physical examination, diagnosis and treatment of a child with an allergic reaction to food. Long term risk reduction strategies for a food allergy will also be discussed. This podcast was written by Cary Ma, a medical student at the University of Alberta, in collaboration with Dr. Yarden Yanishevsky, a pediatric allergist, assistant professor and section head of pediatric allergy at the University of Alberta and Stollery Children's Hospital.
