Episodic Syndromes That May Be Associated with Migraine in Children

This podcast covers episodic syndromes that may be associated with migraine in children.  It will discuss the five pediatric syndromes associated with a higher risk of developing migraine later in life, including infantile colic, benign paroxysmal torticollis of infancy, benign paroxysmal vertigo of childhood, cyclic vomiting syndrome, and abdominal migraine.  This podcast was developed by Stephanie Unrau, a fourth-year medical student from the University of Alberta with Dr. Thilinie Rajapakse, an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta and Pediatric Neurologist specializing in Headache and Facial Pain at the Stollery Children’s Hospital.
